So every year like millions of other people i think of a few resolutions, (usually 5) that i know i can succeed in putting into effect and accomplishing within a year if i focus on them. For me its a way to measure my growth throughout the year, whether i have truly focused on bettering myself or whether im still just mosying along. I know that if i check back 1/2 through the year, and i cant even cross of one item i usually get very irritated with myself and its like a lil kick in the rump to get me going.

Here's my list of resolutions for 2009:

1. Thoroughly clean out my closet and donate/discard clothing that i do not wear.

2. Adopt healthier habits (change diet, excercise more).

3. Increase my emergency savings (have at least $1000 set aside).

4. Go back to school

5. Move

I used Revlon color stay nail polish which is guaranteed to be chip resistant for 10 days. So far, the fact that it dried so fast is a plus in my book. I had originally painted my nails using Revlons normal nail polish (normal as in not having any gimmicks like quick dri or watever) in "Strawberry Electric" but it smudged 1 hr after i had it on. It didnt smudge too badly but i happend to see the color stay which is actually just about the same color, i decided to re-do my nails and see if this worked. This is a day 1 pic, i only used 1 coat. Sorry for the weird pics but lighting is weird in my pc room.

I am busy plotting on a weekend getaway sometime early next year (maybe Feb) and i was searching for a cute bright colorful weekender bag since i dont seem to have any on hand. I wanted to keep track of the choices i found so what better way then to list them all here :).

The last one is a carry-on but i thought it was soo cute so i had to addd it. I also just realized i seem to have a penchant for pink this week, deep/dark pink, maroon colors etc. And i just painted my nails pink today. I wonder why...?

i'm sorry, i know its mean but this makes me laugh and laugh. Some of my friends think its fake, but fake or not i still find pleasure in it. i am soo going to hell.

Since i am racking my brain trying to figure out everyone else's gifts, i decided to make it easier on my family by creating a wishlist to save them time and effort (also saves me from having to return stuff that i hate). I reaaally want a Wii but i can see my nephew breaking the controllers or my brother "borrowing" it, or my sister hogging it all day and night. So i thought about alternative gifts that i can be totally selfish about without having to deal with everyone else's grumbling. I also made sure to think economically so that no one has to break their pockets to make me happy ^_^
