If your interested in highlighting and contouring your face, *start with loose powder one shade lighter than the one used to set your foundation. Apply it with a wedge sponge to the T-zone, the area that's always lighter; this is a guide for contouring other parts of your face as well. With your contour brush, sweep deeper shades of pressed powder under your cheekbones, down the sides of your nose, and near your hairline, for soft yet subtle shading. If you feel you've gone too far, and you look like a character in Cats, dust loose powder over any of these areas to soften the effect."

Sunscreens containing physical blocks (these chemicals deflect UV rays) leave a whitish cast/tone to the skin. Avoid buying sunscreens that contain physical blockers, such as: Titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, Oxybenzone, dioxybenzone as these are all physical blockers and are commonly found in sunscreens. Check out products by Neutrogena, Hawaiian Tropic and Coppertone, they use the organic blockers (these chemicals absorb UV rays) in most of their products.
Also if you have darker skin you can use a lower level of SPF as darker skin has a natural SPF of 4 to 5. The higher the SPF the more likely it is to have the physical blockers included in the ingredients

Protect your face from the shampoo
When rinsing shampoo from your hair, keep in mind that shampoos contain detergents that are stronger than the products that you use on your face.

What to do?
Try tipping your head back and letting the water flow down your back instead.
